Starting the Final Task

Hello my name is Kadia Khan and I am 16 years old. I am in the 11th grade. I am taking this class to learn about the types of things that happen in the media. I want to attend a college in New York or another state. I also want to pursue my career in New York. I fell in love with the city ever since I’ve visited my brother there. I am obsessed with having good grades but at times it can be too much but I find a way to deal with it in the end. School can be a stressful thing to deal with at times especially when you have other things to worry about. I always find a way to stay organized through the stress. I am always reminding myself that I am doing all this for my family and that is what keeps me motivated. I am working on this project with Keemori H. and Anayah S. I choose this group because we have worked on a project before and it turned out very well. We worked on our music video project very easily and we did not have any problems. Our project got done in one day for filming and another one for editing. With this group, everything gets done when it needs to be. They are very determined in their work so I couldn’t have worked with a better group. They taught me different things while we were doing the project. It made it easier with editing the video. I am pretty sure that they will cooperate more in this project too. I am looking forward to work on this project with my group.

    I am overjoyed at the way the music video came out. I am proud of the group I worked with. The music video showed my development of editing and filming from my commercial. I could not have completed this project with out my teammates. I made sure not to make the same mistakes time wise as when I was making the commercial. It is clear that everything was planned out well. The video was not choppy or last minute. There are many changes that could be seen. Planning Blog for Music Video

Props All members of the group decided that there will not be any use of props in the music video. We only intend to use actors and costumes during the filming process.      Location(s)     The music video will be filmed in a few places. Two of them being the beach and a restaurant close by to the beach. The video will also be filmed on a boardwalk with all the actors walking together in a group.         Costumes    For the music video that actors will be wearing costumes to fit the setting. For example, because the video will be held at the beach and other locations, the actors will have to wear swimsuits or beach clothes. Filming Blog

For my commercial, I will be filming at two different locations. I will start filming on the 1st since its on the weekend. As the director, I will be in charge of the outfits and props. The first location would be the park. The actors and I would already be dressed in our outfits which would be red shirts and jeans. If any time of bad weather occurrence happens, I would simply just move to the house for filming. It will be filmed on my iPhone 8 Plus. The phone is most likely going to look better than a camera. I will be able to direct where the actors are going and the angles I use. The props which are mainly the Coca-Cola will always be able to be scene when it is needed. Filming in the park would most likely take multiple shots to get it just right. This would be the same in the house because you never know what could get in your shots.
