Anayah's ideas:  

In one scene we will use a tilt camera movement showing the restaurant we will be filming at. In another scene will be a pan camera movement, showing everyone in the group having fun in the restaurant. The other scene will have the girls walking around the boardwalk, or some shit like that, laughing and talking – basically doing things regular teenage girls do. In another, the scene will also be a pan camera movement showing the girls' surroundings. 

 

Kadia’s ideas: 

One of the scenes will be shot at the restaurant which shows what food we are going to be eating. This would be a close-up shot. Another scene will be one person singing part of the song and this would be a handheld angle. The other scene would be us, girls, at the beach by the water doing anything. This would be a tracking and wide shot angle. One of the other scenes would be having the beach in the background then it would feature different pictures in the front like a collage. It would give off a nice touch in the video.  

  

Keemori’s ideas: 

In one of the scenes, it will show the girls leaving the restaurant after getting shots from there. That would be a wide shot. Another scene will be when the girls are heading to the boardwalk. While on the boardwalk the girls will be doing tik-toks and there will be a close-up from behind the scenes of what’s happening; it will be a slow-mo scene. The other scene will show all the girls singing the Greece song while enjoying they’re enjoying themselves on the beach. 


 

Scene 1 + Scene 2 

In the first scene, our group will be showing the restaurant the group of girls will be in using a tilt camera movement. Scene 2 is where we will use a pan camera movement showing all three of the girls talking and enjoying their day so far. 


Scene 3 + Scene 4  

One of the scenes will be a shot at the restaurant which shows the food the actors will be eating. This scene will also be a close-up shot. Scene 4 will present the girls walking out of the restaurant and to the beach using a wide shot.  


Scene 5 + Scene 6 

Scene 5 will include the group by the water doing dancing or playing around with another. Scene 6 will be one of the actors holding the camera and lip-syncing to the music using the handheld camera angle technique.  


Scene 7 + Scene 8 

Scene 7 will present the beach in the background then it would feature different pictures in the front like a collage. This way it would give off a nice touch in the video. Scene 8 will be a pan camera movement showing the boardwalk. This scene will tell the audience that the group of teens changed locations.   
 

Scene 9 + Scene 10 

Scene 9 will be the girls walking on the boardwalk and talking to each other with smiles on their faces. Scene 10 will be the girls walking into a store for shopping purposes.  
 

Scene 11 + Scene 12 

Scene 11 would show the group creating a tik tok dance together to the song. The group decided that this scene will be a close-up shot. The next scene – scene 12, will show the girls singing along to the song Greece and having fun.  


For each scene, we are hoping that most are only five seconds long to avoid going past the limited time allowed for the music video. However, from experience, all group members are aware that the expected scene length may not happen while filming.

     My group and I have not decided when to edit our video yet. Looking back on the filming day it was very fun. I am both sad and relieved about the filming. I feel this way because it was really fun to work with my group but I am relieved we got it done. I had a great time filming especially because we are all friends. We were all in contact and started to plan everything immediately. I feel like filming is better than editing for us because we can't meet up this time to edit. It was a little hectic because the storyboard was not really matching up with our scenes. In the end, we found a way to make it work because we were not going to leave until it did. Genre Research: Action & Thriller

The action and thriller genres have many similarities and differences, especially when it relates to CLAMPS. Action Films Action films tend to use different aspects of lighting such as, three-point, low key, natural, and high key lighting. Like thriller films, action movies contain excessive use of make-up and costumes to make the movie seem and realistic as possible. Not to mention, directors use make-up and costumes to separate normal and abnormal characters within the film. In action movies low-key, high-key, natural, and three-point lighting are commonly used during film. During the editing process, editors of action films are more likely to use graphic and action matches, slow motion effects, and plenty visual effects. Especially in movies like Spiderman, Avengers, and Iron Man. As for camera angles action movies are usually seen with using aerial shots, high angles, low angles, and canted (Dutch) angles. Planning Blog: Scripts

  Writing the scripts was easy for our group.  Our group already had ideas in mind for what we wanted in our film and it all came down to write these ideas in a script.  To create the script our group has used PowerPoint.  Using PowerPoint has made our  scripts  easier  to  read for the group and for the actors.  We successfully made t he  shooting script  go hand in hand  with the sound and dialogue script . The scripts are always very descriptive when it comes to sound, lighting, camera shots, and camera movements.  Not to mention, that there is enough dialogue to keep the movie scenes mysterious and  intimidating.  All that’s left is to film and edit using the scripts and storyboard as our guide.   One of the group members  Anayah  oversaw writing the two scripts, however, everyone pitched in to throw in their own ideas.
