Planning Blog
The following listed are the plans for my commercial. This includes location, schedule, props, costumes, and a back-up plan.
- PROPS: the items that are needed
Since I am doing a Coca-Cola commercial, the main prop will be a Coca-Cola drink. Other props are other household items depending on what activity is being done.
2. COSTUMES: what is going to be worn
In my commercial, I will have different people as the subject. The actors would wear red and white shirts to represent the brand logo. The bottom pants would differ and the shoes will not really matter. We might have face paint to represent watching a game.
3. SCHEDULE:
On 10/22/2020, I will research the conventions of drink commercials especially Coca-Cola.
On 10/23/2020, I will be establishing the plans like props, locations, backup, etc.
On 10/27/2020, I will be creating my storyboard for the 30 second commercial.
On 10/28/2020, I will be establishing the steps filming and recording the necessary shots for the commercial.
On 10/30/2020, I will be establishing the steps for editing and adding the final touches that are needed for the commercial.
4. LOCATIONS:
My main location will be my home. In my house, we will film a series of shots with different actors to get it perfect. The scene would take place as a family getting together or just appreciating time with each other.
The second other location could be a park with the actors relaxing together. The actors would be having a picnic together just celebrating with each other.
5. BACKUP PLAN:
If the weather is bad or not good enough to shoot at the park, I would stay and shoot in the house. If an actor is missing one day, we would simply have someone fill in.
